So, I went to a psychic yesterday and had my tarot cards read.
This isn't a joke. It's for real. I paid some psychic $40 to basically tell me what I already knew: "You are on the right path, and everything is about to pay off."
O.K. I had been thinking about going to a psychic for awhile. I was curious, ya know. But, I'm a skeptic. Big time. I'm not sure anyone can really see the future. However, I do also believe in "intuition" and in being able to channel negative and positive energy.
In fact, I have always relied on my own intuition. And eerily, In the last couple of weeks, I have had a bunch of times where I sort of preconceived events that were about to unfold before they actually unfolded.
Example 1: On Friday, I was sitting in the gym watching my son perform gymnastics. He's only been in the class for about a month. Anyway, as I watched I suddenly had this flash -- I could see him in the future, and he was good at gymnastics, doing all sorts of flips. I thought, hmm, I think he could be really good at this. But I also figured that was just the "proud mama" in me combined with "wishful thinking."
However, immediately after class his Asian male teacher approached me and sat down. "We have something serious to talk about," he said.
Despite his serious demeanor, I wasn't worried when he said those words. I knew instantly that he was going to tell me that my son had "potential." That's when he suggested that I switch my six-year-old son into the "pre-team" class that is two hours long, held once a week, and is where he will be trained and watched and assessed to see if he is ready for a team (in about six months).
COINCIDENCE?
Example 2: I went off to NYC for the Wisteria Lane event on Sunday afternoon, which was a nice escape from the reality of trying to sell the house. We had almost a dozen people come by Saturday and Sunday to take a peek at the house, which was good news, considering the weekend before we had NO SHOWINGS, and things had been looking stagnant in the home selling department.
Anyhoo, I was exhausted and yet exhilarated after taking part in the live TV broadcast Sunday night. And I didn't even feel that tired, as I drove home from the event. As I was turning onto our street, around 11:40 p.m., I suddenly had a thought: WE GOT AN OFFER ON THE HOUSE TONIGHT.
I entered the house, surprised to find my hubby still awake, watching TV in bed. We talked about the WE taping. He told me both kids had stayed up and watched. After sharing our excitement over that for a couple of minutes, my husband paused and said, "this has been an eventful day for us."
Before he could say anything else, I declared: YOU MEAN BECAUSE WE GOT AN OFFER ON THE HOUSE.
He nodded his head, and proceeded to tell me about the offer.
COINCIDENCE?
BTW: The psychic yesterday told me not to worry about selling the house, that somebody had already seen it and was very, very interested, but was being delayed because of paperwork, or getting mortgage approval. "I feel as if they have seen the house. Have you received a serious offer", she asked?
I told her about the offer we received Sunday night which was basically a dead deal by Monday, because we weren't willing to come down $30,000 in price. She told me, not to worry. That she wasn't sure who the buyers were but she felt that they would come back to us with an offer.
Later in the day, my realtor called me and said that the buyers had come back with a counter-offer and came up by $10,000. Okay, it's still too low. But it was interesting to me, because I honestly thought the deal was dead, and suddenly, the negotiations were re-opened.
COINCIDENCE?
You construct your destiny....

intuiton is correct if you think about the number of informative cues we're bombarded with everyday.
Body Language, Vocal Tones, even the way a person breathes can tell us a person given mood, feelings and his opinions on things. If you're capable of reading these, even on a subconscious level, you could pretty much know the future.
Albeit you may not predict natural disasters, but by knowing everyone's feelings and moods on a certain thoughts
(e.g: Son's thoughts on gymnastics and the teacher's) you can defintely know how certain situations will pan out.
