What a very insightful and thoughtful blog entry. You give liberals a good name.

A terrific post. I'm a Bush supporter, and I asked myself what I was going to do should Kerry win the election. I decided that if he did, I'd trust in democracy and support him. And hope that my perceptions of him, colored primarily by the media's eyes, were just plain wrong. I'm glad Bush won the election, but now that it's done, I think there is a new opportunity for Americans to remember that half our neighbors are disappointed. We should reach out to each other. I think your post did just that.

This Zen thing must really be working for you. If I recall, weren't you at the front of this "W is an evil man" rally?!

I guess you got it all out of your system and realized, in the end, we have little control over our democratic process.

Terrific post, Liz.

Great post! Thanks for being so gracious, and coming to terms with the fact that this has been a very venomous election season... and that now that things are over, it's time to step back and consider the votes of America's people.
I have a BIG problem with liberals who just won't get over it; those kind are the ones who itch your brain like a bad rash.
I'm happy to reach out, and ease your concerns... things aren't going to be nearly as bad as you think, especially stateside.
