Awards: The Legend of Hohokam

The Legend of Hohokam, an historical action/adventure feature-length screenplay about a grieving young mother, the chief’s overbearing son, and a mystical stranger, who must put aside their differences in order to save their tribe from impending doom. The original script was written by Lizbeth Finn-Arnold, with story by Sandra Longo and Raw Leiba, and has won the following honors:

Awards: Snake Hill

SNAKE HILL is a feature-length horror screenplay about an heiress who invests her remaining fortune into a piece of development property only to learn it may be haunted.  She might not just lose her money and security, she may lose her sanity or worse, her life.

Snake Hill received the following award:

Wit's End Receives Excellence Award at Honolulu Film Fest

Like-Minded Entertainment is proud to announce that the original sitcom pilot, Wit's End, has received the Aloha Accolade Award for Excellence in Filmmaking from the 2009 Honolulu International Film Festival.

The Festival takes place March 6 – 8, 2009 in Honolulu, Hawaii and the Excellence Award will be handed out at the Closing Night  Awards Ceremony on March 8, 2009 at the Hawaii Theatre in the heart of Honolulu.

According to the congratulatory letter from the film festival manager, Wit's End received the award because it "demonstrated superior and standout filmmaking and is deserving of one of our our most esteemed awards.  Your film was among the very best of the several hundreds of films submitted from over 30 countries around the world."

Wit's End was produced by LME in association with Whirlaway Productions, and was co-created by Lizbeth Finn-Arnold, Sandra Longo, and Mitchell Olson.

Awards: Relative Distance

Relative Distance is an original screenplay about Rebecca Brennan who begrudgingly embarks on a cross-country odyssey with her estranged alcoholic father in search of the half-sister she never knew existed. Along the way, Rebecca learns some hard truths about herself and gains some insight into her father's past. Written by Lizbeth Finn-Arnold and Sandra Longo, the screenplay won the following honor:

    *Second Round Qualifier -- 2007 Austin Film Festival Screenplay Competition (Only top 10-12% of 4000 scripts submitted made it to the distinguished Second Round)

Awards: Shooting Stars

SHOOTING STARS is an original 1/2 dramedy about  an internationally famous pop star who elopes in Vegas with an unknown documentary filmmaker. In doing so she creates cosmic turmoil for those who orbit her in her celebrity universe, including her demanding stage mom, her obsessive fans, and the ravenous paparazzi.

The teleplay has won the following awards:
