The first week in September was a killer for me. The kids went back to school. My son started soccer. Rutgers football season began (and we're season ticket holders). We had a shooting day on the Bluebelles documentary. I spent four days in New York City covering the NY Television Festival for TV Squad. And I was on the radio with my film collaborators promoting Snake Hill and other projects.
The NYTVF was fun because I got to attend the red carpet premiere for Pushing Daisies where I had the opportunity to ask the great Barry Sonnenfeld about his legendary camerawork on Raising Arizona. I also met Pushing Daisies writer/creator Bryan Fuller who was just about the nicest person around (and told us he is a fan of TV Squad).
