the bitch in the house and the bastard on the couch

I finally got around to reading the anthology The Bitch in The House.  Some pretty good reading within the pages about the topics of sex, marriage, motherhood, etc.  I liked the varied viewpoints that were given.  And I am always impressed by the honesty expressed by the writers in such anthologies.

I went to the website, hoping to see that the editor, Cathi Hanauer, would be planning a follow-up -- as I am sure there are many more "bitches" who could share their stories.  I was surprised to learn that Cathi's husband, Daniel Jones, is planning his own follow-up to her book, called The Bastard on the Couch

This one is from the guy's point of view, and I must tell you that I can't wait to read it.  I'm sure some of the essays will make me angry (I'm not sure I want to hear what men really think).  But I'd still like to hear some real guys talk about modern life, work, marriage, and parenthood.
